Peg it up

If you have the perfect wall to display your child’s art, how about installing a wire across the wall that you can peg the art on to? This is a great way of hanging up new artwork each week, so you have a rotating wall of the newest artistic creations on display. You can be creative and use a curtain wire from IKEA.

Frame away

Encourage your kids to create artworks using selected colours to suit your home’s style. Then have the artworks professionally framed and hang them as a series. Abstract art at a fraction of the cost!

Photo-roll art

Rather than throwing your child’s art efforts away, consider taking photos of them. Once you have a collection, have all photos printed onto a collage and mount it either behind a frame or on acrylic. That way, you can enjoy them for years to come.

3D creativity

Capture your child’s first handprint or footprint with clay or ink. You can buy kits like the below from around $20 – and you’ll never find another piece of artwork like it.

Digital photo frames

Got too many artworks to display? Save photos of your kids’ art on a USB and plug it into a digital photo frame for a captivating slide-show effect.

Environmental art

Ever considered art that is good for the environment? A bonsai plant can be cultivated monthly by your kids and will be a great conversational piece when visitors arrive at your home.

Enjoy your children’s art for years to come with these simple and innovative display ideas.
