In search of a lifestyle challenge, Gavin made his way into real estate with a successful agency in Sydney’s Inner West.
For two years, Gavin sold real estate in prestigious suburbs like Balmain, Five Dock and Drummoyne. His success was noted by the National Director of a large international project-marketing firm and was offered a position.
Within three months of joining, Gavin became Rookie of the Year (1995). Gavin sold high-status properties at ‘The Peak’ in Paddy’s Market, ‘One Darling Harbour’ in Murray Street - Sydney, ‘Observatory Tower’ in Kent Street - Sydney, ‘The Pinnacle’, ‘Grandview’ and “Colonnades’ in Milsons Point, ‘The Forum’ in St Leonards, ‘The Chelsea’ in Chatswood and not withholding ‘Greencliffe’ and ‘Craiglea’ in Kirribilli.
The subsequent year, Gavin was the highest producing agent for residential marketing worldwide and was considered to be in the top 5% of Real Estate Agents in the world. Achieving total sales of AUD$38.8 million in his first 12 months period,
Gavin specialises in high market prestigious properties in the Lower North Shore, Inner West and Inner East. Gavin gives three reasons for his success: honesty, persistence and aggression in sales and marketing.
Gavin believes that no development is too small or too hard to sell. As Gavin believes that “you are as good as your last sale” he is constantly focused on his next success. And Gavin enjoys being successful! Over the last eight years Gavin has sold residential, development sites and commercial properties ranging in price from $168 000 to $9.3 million. (Gavin set a sales record for the Lower North Shore in 1996 with an $8 million sale at 63 Kirribilli Avenue).
