Angus McLaren joined Miller and James in 2009. Previously, Angus was a partner in a family farming operation for close to twenty years. When the partnership dissolved in 2009, Angus took the opportunity to begin a new career in rural property marketing whilst retaining an interest in a cropping operation with his wife Karen.

Angus brings a detailed knowledge of farming to Miller and James and takes a quantitative approach to the marketing of rural properties. He believes the rapid change seen in the industry over the last ten years will continue with outside interest in agriculture driving the market. With the rapid industrialisation of China and India, food security will become increasingly important. Australia is in the ideal position to benefit from increased food demand from Asia.
