Born and bred at Lyndhurst just south of Blayney, Ben commenced work as a Stock and Station Agent with M E & N E Hickey in November 1986. After working as a Stock Agent with Hickey’s and also a short stint with Mitchell Westcott in Orange, Ben along with Steve Mooney established Emms Mooney & Co in July 2002 operating out of Blayney and Orange Saleyards. With the establishment of the Central Tablelands Livestock Exchange (CTLX) in 2008 Emms Mooney & Co grew to be one of the leading agencies operating from this market leading centre. Combining with Ray White Oberon in March 2010, Ray White Emms Mooney is now the leading livestock selling agency by volume at CTLX.
