About Charles Burkitt

Having grown up in Darwin Charles has always had a strong understanding of the local Property market and, although relatively new to the profession, he has maintained an appreciation of the strength and significance that the Industry has had on the local economy. Charles began his career as an experienced Investment Adviser specialising in financial markets, having worked in that industry for more than 15 years. During this time he has obtained extensive sales experience while having a very sound knowledge of varying Investment Products, different asset classes and, their respective risk and return. He has a strong belief that Northern Australia, especially the broader Darwin region, is well positioned to continuing evolving as a key economic region of Australia and the South East Asia region. This will only consolidate and underpin the soundness of Commercial Property and the Economic prosperity of regional Businesses alike. It is this aspect that draws Charles to this part of the Industry to assist and enhance these benefits for valued Clients of O’Donoghues First National. While leading an active lifestyle with an interest in most sports and leisure activities, Charles also serves as the Deputy Chair of the Divisional Advisory Board for the Northern Territory Red Cross and as an alternate member for the Australian Red Cross National Board. Charles is also a member of the National Asset and Investment Strategy Committee for Australian Red Cross, Deputy Chair of the Darwin Turf Club and a board member of Thoroughbred Racing NT.
