About Chris Uren

Chris Uren has been the principal and franchise partner of Independent Property Group's Inner North and City office since 2012. But first and foremost, Chris considers himself an agent, who is focused on providing the very best experience for clients and ensuring he is knowledgeable on all aspects of the market.

A born and bred Canberran, Chris has seen the city grow and evolve firsthand, as well as more technology coming into the real estate game. But Chris maintains that most important component of being a successful agent has not changed: creating authentic relationships with clients, colleagues and associates.

As the principal, with over two decades of experience as a real estate agent, Chris enjoys mentoring junior agents, supporting his team and celebrating wins together.
His previous career as a chef, coupled with seeing his parents run their Aranda medical practice for 30 years, provided the customer service and commitment to hard work that has seen Chris succeed in real estate.

Over the years he has proven himself as a specialist in established homes and inner City investment properties, and built extensive relationships with clients living and working in Canberra. With over 900 residential real estate transactions under his belt, he has a well-established network of clients built on trust and hard work.
Outside of work Chris enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the outback and trying his luck from his game fishing boat on the south coast.
