Drew spent his early years in various facets of the building industry as an electrician, before moving into Real Estate in the mid 1980s, working in the Residential and Investment Real Estate Markets on Sydneys Northern Beaches and North Shore.

He first came to Port Macquarie and the Hastings in 1993, which was the catalyst for an enduring connection with the Mid North Coast Region.

Drew has experience in both Residential and Rural markets, having also been involved in agricultural properties cropping and stocking cattle, sheep and goats in the Snowy, Central West, Bourke and Wanaaring in the far West and more locally in Dyers Crossing, Firefly and the New England.

He has also been involved in Aerial Agriculture having been a Pilot since 1981 and gaining his Ag Pilots Rating with the late Col Pay, in Scone.

Drew currently lives on a 100 acre property at Mortons Creek near Beechwood, running Angus cattle, Boer Goats & Dorper Sheep.
