Since completing my residential sale accreditation in 1986, I soon became one of the top selling sales consultants for a major franchise within the first 2 years. As my career in real estate evolved my aspirations soon found me as a partner and director in the company. Being married with a young family at that time certainly presented many challenges juggling between my career and my beloved family. Being a true local of the Fremantle and Cockburn district, I have always been associated with the local community. My father Ray Lees was the Mayor of Cockburn Council serving the community for over 30 years. His remarkable work on behalf of the community has been recognised and the Honour bestowed on him as Freeman of the City of Cockburn. His legacy certainly has had a significant input in shaping my long standing career in this wonderful industry. In 1991 I established my own company Port City Real Estate and opened the first office at 177 High Street, Fremantle. With a sales team of 10 people and a property management department, my enthusiasm to serve my clients built the business in quick time. Today we are located in new larger premises in The Woodson’s Complex with a tight knit senior sales team and a property management department services some 260 residential properties. My company also specialises in both residential and commercial Strata Management with 10 sites under management of varying density. I have always been passionate about selling and managing property and have gained much experience with property investment and renovation through personal property dealings. Above all else my role affords me the ability to continually meet new people and gain great pleasure from assisting my clients to fulfil their needs and requirements. My chosen career affords me the ability and freedom to earn a living whilst working in an industry I truly love. The sky really is the limit with what you can achieve when you are passionate about your job. With a strong and professional sales team behind me, it is so gratifying to attend the annual awards evenings and see my staff represent the company in such a positive way.
