Mellissa has been in the real estate industry since 1998 and with the L.J Hooker network since 2000, In 2010 Mellissa completed her certificate IV in Property Services and is a licensed real estate agent. Mellissa is a local girl growing up in Weston and has extensive local area knowledge. Mellissa has worked in all facets of the industry, starting at the age of 18 in an administration/sales division progressing to being an office manager at the age of 25, managing over 17 staff and has more than 10 years’ experience as a Property Investment Manager. Mellissa has a well-rounded knowledge of the industry and possess extensive managerial, Property Investment Management skills and marketing expertise, She is a very high achiever with is clearly evident in her client relationships and repeat and referral business. Mellissa prides herself on being an active member of the community, taking a great interest in local charities, in fact in 2012 Mellissa was a Finalist for the Prestigious Real Estate Institute of NSW Greig OAM award for her community service, signifying her devotion and commitment to the local community. Mellissa has always strived to be the best in her related field and was also nominated for Property Investment Manager of the Year with the L.J Hooker Network in 2010, Mellissa has been clearly recognised from our regional team within the L.J Hooker Network as one of the top 5 Property Investment Managers and is currently a Member of L.J Hooker’s Captains Club - which recognises the top 15% of Property Investment Managers in the international LJ Hooker Network. Mellissa is also very proud to be a part of the Property Investment Management Chapter which is a committee that meets and discuss training days, legislation changes; this is an exclusive committee to which she enjoys an opportunity to be a mentor to other Property Investment Managers within the network. Her current position as General Manager at L.J Hooker Cessnock and Kurri Kurri allows her to utilise her skills as she diligently oversees the day-to-day running's of the business as well as being a mentor for the Property Investment Management Team and ensuring our customers and clients have an enjoyable experience when using L.J Hooker Cessnock and Kurri Kurri for their sales, finance or investment needs.
