Mike, experience in the real estate industry spans the full spectrum of the market, from residential, industrial and commercial properties to lifestyle, hobby farming and full-scale rural properties. With an introduction to farming and raising beef cattle from the age of 15, and having lived in the region all his life, Mikeҳ truest passion lies with the Northeastҳ rural and lifestyle sectors. Having raised four kids and lived on the property for 28 years, the Willoughbys love the lifestyle of the Greta Valley and wider North East. Mike has a long, successful history combining real estate, retail sales, business management and customer service. In his teens he completed a butchering apprenticeship under his father Laurie, a well known character who owned and operated a chain of butcher shops in the Wangaratta and Yarrawonga districts. A change of direction to the camping and leisure industry in the 1970s saw the establishment of Willoughbyҳ Wangaratta Camping World. A highly successful family business success ֠ driven by Mikeҳ keen business sense, sales and marketing strengths, and caring, down-to-earth affinity with people from all walks of life ֠it received the prestigious inaugural WAW/Wangaratta Rotary Retail Business Award, which was a great honour. Mike totally enjoys working with vendors and buyers, sharing many common interests with them, whether property and pastures or cattle, cottage industries and broadscale enterprises. He draws on broad market knowledge, an extensive personal and professional network, and innovative company resources, including Stockdale & Leggoҳ cutting-edge technology and marketing systems, to bring both parties the best possible results.
