About Peter Druitt

Peter Druitt is a the founder and a Director of Peter Druitt & Co. From a rural background in North West NSW, Peter commenced his career in agency in 1979 in Armidale with what was then Elder Smith Goldsbrough Mort. This was followed by postings at Guyra, Goulburn and as manager of the Bourke branch. In January of 1991 Peter came to Mudgee as the branch manager for Elders, and in August of 1993 he established Peter Druitt & Co. In addition to his business, Peter has been active in the industry. He was on the Board of Directors of the Australian Livestock and Property Agents (ALPA), the industry peak body, from 1997 until 2006, including serving two terms as Vice-President. He was a Director of the Stock and Station Agents Co-operative from 1998 until 2006 and Chairman from 1999 to 2004, and in 2007 was made an Honorary Life Member of ALPA. In 2007 he joined the Board of Rural Marketing Agents (RMA), the leading group of independent stock and station agents in Australia, and was elected President in 2010. Peter's focus within the business is sales of livestock and larger rural properties. With a life-long passion for the rural industry and thirty-two years of hands on experience, his knowledge and understanding along with his professionalism are second to none. He is a licensed Real Estate Agent, Stock and Station Agent and Business Agent and an accredited auctioneer. Peter is married to Lindy, who is also a partner in a successful professional practice in Mudgee, so their roots are now firmly established in Mudgee. They have two adult children and three grandchildren,
