Simon is the Principal of PRDnationwide Wagga Wagga. He is a Wagga born and raised resident with strong family ties in the city and his success is borne out of a broad knowledge of the local community and a strong rapport with the people who live in it. His success as managing director of such a well-known and progressive company is testament to the effort and emphasis he places on the need for excellent staff working in a team environment to provide outstanding customer service. Simon started in the real estate industry back in 1989 after completing the Real Estate Stock and Station and Auctioneer's course at the University of Western Sydney's Hawkesbury campus. His first appointment was Property Manager with Nationwide Realty McGilvray and after three years he transferred to Junee to open an agency in the town as Licensee in Charge. Simon handled rural, residential and commercial sales and also worked closely with the local shire council and property developers to bring large rural sub-divisions to fruition. After eight years in real estate Simon moved back to Wagga and accepted a position as Advertising Account Executive with WIN Television. His four years in the media industry taught Simon many aspects of marketing and promotion - skills which he implements today in the running of PRDnationwide. Simon returned to real estate in August 2001 as a partner of Nationwide Realty McGilvray and became sole owner of the business in September 2005. Progression has not just seen Nationwide Realty phase into PRDnationwide, one of the most successful real estate franchises across Australia, but under Simon’s guidance has grown to a staff of more than 25 real estate professionals. 2011 saw a commitment made to further cementing PRDnationwide’s place in Wagga Wagga real estate history with the acquisition of the iconic premises at 53 Fitzmaurice Street. With a vision to provide a ‘5 star service’ across the residential, commercial, rural and property management divisions of the business, Simon says the challenge of providing a better service every day is what drives the success of the PRDnationwide team.
