Steve commenced his real estate career in 1995 working with the Commercial division of the largest private real estate company in New Zealand, Barfoot and Thompson, who employ over 700 real estate agents. It was in New Zealand that Steve learnt the value of working in a team environment, whereby people working together, rather than in a "dog eat dog" fashion, achieve better results for their clients. In 1999 Steve returned to live in the mountains at the family property known as Silvertop Lodge on the Alpine Way only 10 minutes from the office. He started work in Thredbo two days after returning to Australia, and quickly realized the tremendous lifestyle opportunities on offer in the Snowy Mountains, Thredbo, Perisher, Lake Crackenback and Jindabyne. Having learnt that selling mountain and high country real estate is a careful, well planned and targeted process, Steve was quick to contact his clients and help them with clear information about the market. His negotiation skills have helped him to achieve great results and train other staff in his team. Steve holds Real Estate Agents and Stock and Station Agents Licenses.
