Clothing superstore ASOS launches its first ever homewares collection

Clothing superstore ASOS is venturing into the lifestyle space, announcing the launch date of its first ever homewares collection, ASOS Supply.

The collection, due for release on February 5, is starting out simple and includes kitchen and bathroom accessories, throws, storage options and recycled glassware.

Prices for the collection start at just $20.

In giving customers the first sneak peek of the range, the company says there is “something [in it] for everyone”, with some products saturated in colour and others are a little more minimalist.

The collection notably features quirky cushions, bright bedding and distinctive wall mirrors that are clearly targeted at a younger, vibrant customer looking to inject some eccentricity and personality into a space.

The collection has affordable accessories for the bathroom.

The collection is presented in three different trends, covering themes called Eclectic Luxe, Cool Minimal and Global Traveller.

According to the brand, Eclectic Lux offers a mixture of products and fabrics such as “such as recycled glassware and retro-inspired statement plates”. In comparison, Cool Minimal is all about soft furnishings, where “clean lines and brushstroke patterns” reign supreme, while Global Traveller is all about bright pops of colour and 1970s-inspired design.

A throw from the range.

While it’s not the first time the online store has sold homewares, it is the first time the brand has released is own line.

The pieces were designed by ASOS’ in-house team with  twentysomethings in mind, hoping the collection is “flexible” with the “ability to move and morph into a variety of living spaces with ease”.

Prices for the collection start at just $20.
