Designers are pushing the boundaries in the bathroom, allowing us to incorporate function and beauty into our everyday.

A pendant light here, sumptuous tapware there — the sum of these parts is a space of pure relaxation and rejuvenation.

Immersion Bathtub by Artedomus

Designed by Neri & Hu, the Agape Immersion Bath is inspired by traditional timber bathing vessels used in Japan and China.

Deeper than a standard tub, it welcomes a more upright posture rather than reclining, reminiscent of an onsen hot spring experience.

‘Trilogy’ Wall Sconce by Articolo

The ‘Trilogy’ Wall Sconce by Articolo marries contemporary design with centuries-old Japanese artisanship.

Featuring a light source concealed within a trio of mouth-blown glass orbs, the delicate design doubles as a sculptural pendant.

Danish-based bathroom brand VOLA has launched a new matt white tapware range, now available in Australia.

Beautifully pure and unmistakably matt, the neutral-toned collection with a “bright white” finish is inspired by tactile forms found in nature.
