Based on the above image alone, it would be easily assumed this room is within a completed luxury home – not an apartment display suite.
The Holme marketing display by Cbus Property evokes a warm atmosphere in a temporary, confined space. The styling by Simone Haag draws on the Collingwood development’s design by John Wardle Architects (JWA), the existing building fabric and the perceived elegance of its future residents.
“The intent was to create a space that offered an unpretentious and interesting collection of pieces that enticed a demographic that may not have previously considered Collingwood,” Haag says.
“I had this vision in my mind of a refined New York loft with artworks leaning and magazines stacked in piles, but without looking too youthful or informal. That was a real inspiration for me, showcasing an elegant yet relaxed approach to interior styling.”
Pieces have been sourced locally and internationally, including the leather Bollo chair by Fogia, Halcyon Lake rug, coffee tables by Grazia & Co and lounges by Project 82.
“People truly feel like they’re walking into a home, a brilliant device by JWA seamlessly integrating the existing architecture and its sense of light, texture and volume.”
