If you’re feeling a little ho-hum about your living room, we’ve found four designs that are sure to add some sparkle to the space.

Nova lamps

These curious shapes may look like abstract sculptures, but Thevoz—Choquet kept functionality front-of-mind when designing these lamps.

Collaborating with Bloc studios, the team milled blocks of limestone to form electrical structures that could hold multicoloured tubes of light.

It’s easy to see that German craftsman Sebastian Herkner is passionate about colour.

The shades on these vessels interact beautifully, especially in sunlight. Herkner wanted each item to be handmade, a technique he believes is intrinsically powerful.
