What do a skilfully curated cafe and a collection of wondrous works have in common?

Through these four unique designs, there’s a lesson on how to inspire intrigue and imagination through beautiful, finely-crafted design.

Workshop Brothers by Studio Tate

Workshop Brothers is a newly opened cafe in Melbourne’s Southbank, designed by Studio Tate.

A welcome contrast to its neighbouring retailers, the space features tan leather seats, suede benchtops, and a warm timber bar, creating a luxurious depth of tactility.

Mila Chair by FrancoCrea

Subtle yet sophisticated, FrancoCrea’s Mila Chair is at home in both formal and casual settings.

Displaying premium craftsmanship, it can be upholstered in a range of high quality leather, wool or velvet, using a traditional hand-stitched quilting technique.

Enfold Sideboard by Muuto

Fusing cold and warm materials, the Enfold Sideboard by Muuto is made from a lacquered steel that gently enfolds the top and bottom in solid oak.

Stocked through Living Edge, the design comes in multiple colours including black, grey, dusty green, and sand yellow.

Hanging Lamps by Valerie Object

Similar to the floor lamp, these hanging lamps by Valerie Object consist of practically nothing more than one fluent, curved line.

On one hand the basic design is soft and restrained, on the other hand, its playful character simply demands attention.

The graceful items are available from Spence & Lyda.
