The Hampton home renovated by identical twin brothers Josh and Luke Packham on season 17 of The Block is back on the market.

The four-bedroom, three-bathroom house at 10 Bronte Court in Melbourne’s Bayside is listed for sale with a price guide of $3.9 million to $4.1 million.

The property last sold for $3.93 million at the televised Block auction in November 2021, winning the Sydney brothers $530,000 and second place in the competition.

Kay & Burton executive director Alex Schiavo is managing the sale and says the campaign is off to a strong start, with around 15 groups visiting the first open for inspection.

“We’ve had families with younger children, families with older children, and a couple of executive couples with no kids, so it certainly has appealed to a wide range of people,” he says.

While the home’s history on The Block has helped generate interest in the campaign, Schiavo says prospective buyers are viewing it through a “fresh lens”.

“The majority of the living is single-level living, which is what people like,” he says, listing the home’s cul-de-sac position, underground theatre room and backyard – complete with a fire pit, pool and putting green – as other key selling points.

The open-plan living, kitchen and dining space features a 6.5-metre-high vaulted ceiling, with sliding glass doors to an outdoor dining and kitchen area.

Another drawcard is the outdoor bath in the main bedroom’s en suite, which wowed the judges when it was revealed on the show, with Shaynna Blaze describing the space as “extraordinary” and Darren Palmer calling it “magical”.

“You could almost use that room as a wellness room and have an ice bath outside if you wanted to, which seems to be in vogue at the moment,” Schiavo says.

The design choices made by Josh and Luke, who were embroiled in a cheating scandal on the show, remain intact, with no major updates made to the house since it was completed in 2021.

Furniture and other items within the home are also “up for discussion”, Shiavo says. “It could be turnkey; if someone wants the furniture, we’ll have that discussion.”

The current owners, who remain anonymous, decided to sell after their plans to move from Sydney to Melbourne changed.

“They were leasing it for a while until they were transferring but that’s not happening anymore,” Schiavo says. “They’re going to remain in Sydney.”

Expressions of interest close at 5pm on August 13.
