Western Bulldogs captain and AFL great Marcus “The Bont” Bontempelli has lent his star power to Ray White Williamstown, appearing in a sales video for the luxury ARCO development in Footscray.
The marketing campaign, led by director Joanne Royston, showcases the block of 16 apartments designed by award-winning architect Ben Robertson.
Apartments 102, 204 and 502 are now on the market, and Bontempelli says he hopes to see passionate Bulldogs fans snap them up.
“Having spent a lot of time in Footscray, I’m here playing and training just around the corner and I’ve seen the growth in the area,” he says.
“There’s a great connection to the community in Footscray. There are coffee shops, great pubs and restaurants, and a vibrant atmosphere. It’s only going to continue to grow and evolve.”
The Bulldogs’ training ground, Whitten Oval, is visible from ARCO’s rooftop, but footy fans aren’t the only ones snapping up these boutique apartments. Royston says interest has come from a range of buyers.
“We’ve had single purchasers, downsizers, and young professionals who live locally wanting low maintenance in a great location,” she says. “But we’ve also had an enquiry on the penthouse from a young family as well.”
The apartments come with access to the on-site Alexam Wellness centre, currently under construction. It will include mineral baths, a cold plunge pool, a sauna, a steam room and tranquil relaxation zones.
Unit 102 has a price guide of $1.15 million, while unit 204 has a price guide of $850,000 to $930,000.
Unit 502 is a penthouse with four bedrooms and a private rooftop oasis, and it has a price guide of $2.5 million to $2.6 million.
