Terms and Conditions

5 double passes to The Block Inspection (GAME OF SKILL).

Information on how to enter, mechanics of entry and prizes form part of these Conditions of Entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry. All times in the terms and conditions the time refers to AEDT.

The promotion commences at 4.00pm AEDT on Friday 10th April 2015 and closes at 12.00pm AEDT on Saturday 11th April 2015.

Eligibility

Entry is open to any Australian residents aged 18 years or older (Entrants). The directors, management and employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, related companies of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion and their related companies are ineligible to enter.

Prize

Five winners will each receive two passes for an inspection of The Block at 9am on Sunday 12^th April, 2015. Winner will be escorted through The Block by a Domain representative and a representative of The Block. Winners are required to meet at The Block marquee at 9am on Sunday 12^th April.

Entry

To enter the following steps must be followed:

Answer the question ‘Tell us in 25 words or less: Which Block room would you love in your home and why?’ by commenting on the specific Facebook post on the Domain page.

Prize winners

This competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the identity of the prize winner selected. All valid entries received during the competition period will be judged on their merit and the entrants who submitted the entries judged to be the most inventive and creative received during the judging period will win the prize. Judging of entries will be completed by the Promoter by 1pm on Saturday 11th April, 2015.

Notification of winners

The prize winners will be notified on the Domain Facebook page at 1.00 pm Saturday 12^th April. The winners will be personal messaged by a team member from Domain by 2:00. The winners will have until 6:00 to respond to the domain team members email. If the person dose not respond the prize will be revoked completely.

The Promoter’s decision on the winners is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

During the inspection of The Block, winners will have their photo taken and an article will be written about the inspection tour. This article and the images will be published on Domain.com.au.

Unless specified otherwise, the winner (and their companions) are responsible for all expenses including, without limitation, spending money, meals (unless specified), drinks, transfers (unless specified), activities (unless specified), incidentals, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, and all other ancillary costs.

The Promoter is neither responsible nor liable for any loss or damage suffered in the event that The Block Inspection is cancelled, rescheduled or relocated for any reason whatsoever.

An entry and any copyright subsisting in an entry irrevocably becomes, at time of entry, the property of the Promoter. The collection, use and disclosure of personal information in connection with this promotion is governed by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). The Promoter collects personal information about an Entrant to include the Entrant in the promotion and, where appropriate, award the prize. If the personal information requested is not provided, the Entrant cannot participate in the promotion and is deemed ineligible. By entering this promotion, Entrants agree to the Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor using and disclosing the Entrant’s personal information for any matter connected to or incidental to this promotion.

As a condition of entering this promotion, each Entrant consents, in the event they are one of the winners, to the Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor using the Entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in any media for an unlimited period without further notification, remuneration or compensation for the purpose of promoting, publicising or marketing this promotion (including any outcome) and/or promoting any products or services manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor.

Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter. Entries will be deemed accepted at the time of receipt by the Promoter and not at the time of transmission. Entries received will be considered final by the Promoter. Incomplete, inaccurate, erroneous, ineligible or incomprehensible entries will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries. Contact details entered incorrectly via the Application by an Entrant will deem an Entry invalid.

Costs associated with accessing the Domain Page, Domain Website, and/or Application remain an Entrant’s responsibility and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used. The Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor using accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings or any variation in prize values. The prize will only be awarded following any winner validation and verification that the Promoter requires in its sole discretion. The use of any automated entry software or any mechanical, electronic or other means that allows an Entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Entrant invalid.

The Promoter, its associated agencies and companies and/or the Prize Sponsor excludes all liability (including negligence) except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, for any loss, damage or direct or indirect injury suffered or sustained as a result of this promotion, or taking a prize or any component of a prize in connection with or arising out of this promotion. This includes, but is not limited to: (i) technical malfunctions, delays or failures, including those resulting from accessing any materials related to this promotion and any incorrect, inaccurate or incomplete information communicated in the course of, or in connection with, this promotion as a result of any technical malfunctions, delays or failures; (ii) theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (iii) lost or damaged entries, prize claims or the prize; and/or (iv) acceptance and/or use of the prize.

If the prize or element of the prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter’s and/or the Prize Sponsor’s reasonable control, then a comparable prize or prize element of equal or greater value will be awarded in lieu. If for any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor using this promotion is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter and/or the Prize Sponsor reserves the right in their sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion and/or, if necessary, to provide an alternative prize or prizes to the same value as the original prize, subject to any written directions made under applicable State or Territory legislation.
