Curving features and soft lines make for good flow and easy movement, especially when incorporated into furniture.

It’s something that these four creatives know well, with designs so elegant, they’ll make anyone climb on the curved band-wagon.

Vuelta Chair

Spanish designer Jaime Hayon and Austrian manufacturer Wittmann have created the Vuelta Armchair, a piece from their Wittmann Hayon Workshop collection.

Available from Domo, the chair has Hayon’s signature curves with the backrest wrapping around, enveloping the sitter in a calming embrace.

Pumpkin Stool

Referencing a pumpkin pie with its sliced circle design, the Pumpkin Stool designed by Danish brand Won adds a visual element to the familiar footstool.

It is available in a range of vibrant seat colours atop black legs from Trit House.

The Chapel Coffee Table

Created by Nikolai Kotlarczyk and available through DesignByThem, the Chapel Coffee Table series is inspired by the designer’s travels to Italy, taking cues from the stained glass windows of baroque churches.

The steel legs and circular configurations hero the toughened glass, evoking a subtle sense of nostalgia and opulence.
