A thriving city night-time economy is hallmarked by plenty of choices, particularly in entertainment and hospitality venues. In other words: drinking and dining options.
And there’s certainly been a lot of activity around the city in recent times with new venues in both categories opening.
One that has established a loyal following is a Lebanese restaurant and bar located in the heart of busy Garema Place, that offers authentic cuisine, live music and cocktails seven days a week.
A measure of its success is that it began its tenancy on the street level, but now leases the whole two-storey building.
The bar is now less than two years into a 10-year lease on 240 square metres of net lettable space.
Andrew Smith of Civium Property Group – Commercial says the building’s location on the busiest foot traffic area within Garema Place makes it a highly attractive investment opportunity.
“This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to buy and hold in this sought-after location,” he says.
“We’ve had strong early interest from private investors, attracted to the long-term lease and location of the building.”
Annual net rent is about $108,000.
Smith says it’s timely to stake a place in the city with a rejuvenation of the CBD continuing and with a luxury five-star hotel planned for Garema Place.
