Actor Kirsten Dunst has listed her trendy Soho penthouse for $US5 million ($6.52 million) after she stylishly refurbished the two-bedroom pad.

It wasn’t a quick polish up and flip, though, as she purchased the Canal Street loft in 2007 for $US3.09 million. She had then put it up for rent, semi-furnished, for $US12,500 a month in 2014, after she’d carried out an extensive renovation including updating the kitchen, while embracing a “quirky, vintage” feel.

The home comes with a private elevator entrance, wooden floors, exposed brick walls, views of Manhattan and the Hudson River, a large master bedroom, library and sitting room – and a brand new bathroom, complete with a vintage claw foot bath

The actress, who first hit it big as a 12-year-old in 1994’s Interview with a Vampire, recently become engaged to Jesse Plemons, her co-star in the FX crime drama Fargo.

Dunst was nominated for a 2016 Emmy for her role as Peggy Blumquist in the show. Plemons, meanwhile, had his breakthrough role in the NBC football drama Friday Night Lights.

The 533 Canal Street building is a bit of a home to the stars, and has also housed Michael Stripe of REM, Oscar nominee Casey Affleck and director Gus van Sant at various times.
