US singer Adam Levine and his model wife Behati Prinsloo have splashed out close to A$70 million (US$52 million) on a sprawling mansion in an exclusive Californian suburb.
The two-storey secluded estate was owned by US actor Rob Lowe and is located in the Santa Barbara suburb of Montecito, the Dirt reports.
Oprah Winfrey, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Ariana Grande and Ellen DeGeneres also call the upmarket neighbourhood home.
The Levines final purchase price of Oakville Estate was well above the A$65 million (US$42.5 million) listing price.
The luxury Georgian style property, known as Oakview Estate, was designed in 2010 by US architect Don Nulty with the help of Feng Shui master David Cho.
It is nestled in the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains and sits on 3.4 acres.
The estate has six-bedrooms, 11 baths, a two-bedroom guest house and a pool house with a bedroom and kitchen.
Real estate group The Agency describes the home as having a chef-caliber kitchen, multiple formal and informal living areas and a well-appointed master suite.
It also has a catering kitchen, a wine room, and a professional home theatre.
The luxury property also has vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, handmade crown moulds and custom architectural millwork.
The main home is framed by a spacious verandah that features French doors that open to an outdoor lounge and fireplace.
For the ultimate entertaining, there is an outdoor living room where you can screen movies or take in the koi pond, garden or mountain views.
It is not the first mansion the Levines have bought in Montecito.
Last year, the couple sold their five-arcre estate in the area to DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi for A$35 million ($US$28.5 million).
