A four-bedroom home in England is available for a cheap as chips price, but caution is advised.
The property at Boatman Drive in Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire has a price guide of £50,000 ($85,000) but you’ll have to sign a health and safety waiver prior to viewing.
Rather unsettling to hear is the fact the three-storey detached home is located on a street with a sinkhole, that hasn’t been fixed since 2019.
At the time, the local council were forced to close the road to traffic, and as of March this year, residents in the street were unable to park their cars outside their homes.
Represented by Butters John Bee, the agent has provided a disclaimer on the listing, but hasn’t revealed that it’s due to the sinkhole.
“Any person wanting to view this property will need to sign a health and safety waiver prior to accessing the property grounds,” the listing reads.
Inside the modest brick home lies a modern renovation with wooden floorboards, whitewashed walls, high ceilings and sleek wooden cabinetry.
The property will go to auction on October 17.
