The Woodland Park subdivision in Bungendore offers buyers a chance to build their dream lifestyle property.

There’s something special about Bungendore. Just 20 minutes outside of Queanbeyan and 40 minutes from the centre of Canberra, this little country corner is most regularly used as a pit stop by Canberrans flocking to the South Coast en masse at any chance of sunshine or for a long weekend.

But it’s also one of the most charming and quaint little country towns NSW has to offer, reminiscent of the English countryside with its green rolling hills, picture-perfect cottages, cafes, boutiques and art galleries.

Life here is slower than in the city. It’s a rural escape where you can indulge in a more tranquil existence. And when the world is as chaotic as its current state, living in a place such as Bungendore seems like the most desirable of tree changes.

Woodland Park is a picturesque rural subdivision located off Hoskinstown Road in Bungendore, and it could be the perfect opportunity to make the switch to a simple life.

“Woodland Park encompasses spacious lots, each showcasing the natural beauty and diversity of the Australian landscape,” says agent Jon Stumbles of LJ Hooker Queanbeyan, Jerrabomberra and Googong.

“These lots range in size from 47 to 152 hectares, ensuring that residents have ample space to create their dream rural retreat.”

The large blocks are a rare find so close to town.

The subdivision features a harmonious mix of cleared and timbered country, offering a unique blend of open spaces and wooded areas, perfect for various lifestyles and interests.

“What makes these blocks so appealing is their overall acreage,” Stumbles says, adding that it’s rare to find this size of blocks so close to town.

“There are many smaller subdivisions in the rural area, but not at this size,” he says. “Lot 9 and 13, for example, are made up of mostly clear, open farmland and are large enough that they could be used as a working farm.

“Others have that tranquil tree feel with a lot of pine forest on the properties.”

The blocks are a mix of open farmland and pine forest.

Rural uses could include grazing land, vineyards or equine properties. Given the lots hold unrestricted freehold title, the freedom to build your dream home and live your dream life is yours for the taking.

The building envelopes on the land range from around 4000 to 5000 square metres, which means there is ample space to build the home you want, alongside other infrastructure such as sheds or equine facilities.

There is also plenty to be enjoyed in Woodland Park’s surroundings, with Bungendore‘s shopping centre a mere nine minutes away.

When you’re not tending to your property, you might like to grab a delicious breakfast and coffee from a nearby cafe or visit an art gallery or a boutique retail store.

Bungendore Public School and the high school are just around the corner, offering quality education options.
