A clever design solution to a dual occupancy site on a corner block led to this open-plan, two-storey townhouse in Ainslie.

The home owner and original builder, Dane Kasunic, says the block parameters strongly influenced the final design of the contemporary townhouse.

“I really wanted to maximise the building footprint while also ensuring there was plenty of space for outdoor living,” he says.

“The key was in wrapping the living areas around the kitchen while providing separation from the sleeping zones.”

“We’ve enjoyed living here – especially the location – but our boys are growing and we all need a bit more space,” Dane says.
