Royal enthusiasts can get their hands on a piece of history.
An apartment in the London building where Princess Diana lived when she was dating Prince Charles has gone on the market for £2.5 million ($4.34 million).
Diana occupied a three-bedroom Edwardian flat with three close friends in the Coleherne Court block on Old Brompton Road from 1979 until 1981, the year in which she married the Prince of Wales.
It was Diana’s first home since leaving her parents’ nest and was awarded an English Heritage blue plaque last September.
The apartment for sale isn’t the one lived in by Diana but in the same building. Listed through UK agency Savills, the apartment has three bathrooms, a reception room, a formal dining room, and a separate kitchen and breakfast room.
A fourth room can be made into an additional bedroom and there’s also a communal garden for residents to enjoy.
Interiors currently have a regal theme with a pastel colour palette, plush carpet, drapes, lattice windows and timber accents.
It’s also in one of the most desired parts of London, situated between Chelsea, South Kensington and Earl’s Court.
Diana was regularly snapped by paparazzi entering and leaving the apartment while she dated Charles.
Her biographer Andrew Morton referred to the block as “the most famous address in Britain”.
