Attention Nicole Kidman: Your billionaire Milsons Point neighbour is selling up

June 23, 2020
The three-bedroom spread last traded for $8 million in 2017.

When billionaire Chris Morris comes to Sydney, he kicks back at the Milsons Point penthouse that is a direct neighbour to the Sydney bolthole of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban. But not for long.

The rich list owner of hospitality and tourism operator Colonial Leisure Group has listed the three-bedroom spread atop the Latitude building for $8 million to $8.8 million amid rumours he and his wife Sharron Sills are set to upgrade their Sydney home.

The penthouse is one of three atop the Mirvac development, and the only one not owned by the Hollywood A-lister and her country singer star husband Urban.

Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman already own the adjoining two penthouses in the Latitude building.

Kidman first bought her apartment atop the Latitude building for about $6 million in 2009 from Mark Bouris and added the adjoining penthouse three years later for more than $7 million to create a super spread that is their Sydney home when they visit.

It was hoped the Nashville-based couple would snap up the only remaining penthouse next door as a 50th birthday present for Kidman when it was listed three years ago this month by former Corelogic chief Graham Mirabito, however it was sold for $8 million to Sills, a former Sydney real estate agent.

Nigel Mukhi, of Di Jones Real Estate, has again been enlisted to sell the two-storey apartment, having sold it last time.

Morris, who was ranked Australia’s 82nd richest person on last year’s Financial Review Rich List worth $1.13 billion, sold his former Melbourne trophy home in Middle Park in June last year for more than $13 million.

The two-storey spread returns to the market with a guide of $8 million to $8.8 million.
