The Cockatoo eyesore is a real head turner and had the nation’s most popular ad on Domain, outlined in the Domain End of Year Wrap.
And for anyone enamoured by the possibility of what the graffiti-addled estate could become, it is still on the market, with price hopes of $900,000 to $990,000.

Sydney
The lawn rolls down to Sydney Harbour, and a postcard view, at this property for sale on the nation’s most expensive street. It belongs in its location, with fine details including a “junior suite” with a private entry and a poolside terrace.
Brisbane

The postcode of Wynnum – a high-capital growth area – is pretty even if the home has its pockmarks.
Canberra

Adelaide
This home belonged to AFL star Jeremy Finlayson and his wife Kellie, who sold up as Kellie continues her cancer fight.
