Australia’s very own Jurassic Park has been snapped up by a keen buyer.
Vacant land of 50 acres in Maleny in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland, named Jurassic Park, is now under offer after listing for a cool $3.8 million.
In the 1993 film of the Jurassic Park franchise, based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton, visitors battle to escape the fictional island of Isla Nublar after a shutdown of power and security measures at a wildlife park of de-extinct dinosaurs.
Although the buyer won’t have to worry about escaping or surviving the property at 65 McCarthy Shute Road, they will be able to enjoy the landscape which includes creeks, streams, spring fed dams, waterfalls and tranquil rainforest.

The rainforest area is said to include Red Cedar and Tulip Oak species, along with native wildlife and birds.
“As you explore Jurassic Park, you’ll be amazed by the natural beauty and diversity on offer,” agents for RE/MAX Hinterland state on the listing.
“With its unmatched views, total privacy and a multitude of building sites, Jurassic Park is truly one of a kind.”
