Become Prince William and Kate's next-door neighbour in Palace Green - for a $230k bond

For $38,500, a well-earned renter will be the next-door neighbour of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

An apartment is up for lease in a luxury block just “moments to Kensington Gardens”, requiring a deposit of £120,000 ($AU230,000).

The weekly rent in the Palace Green block in Kensington is  £20,000 (or $AU38,500).

The royal household of Kensington Palace, faces Palace Green and its parkland. Palace Green is the most expensive street in London.

It is regarded as one of central London’s best addresses, not just for the future King and Princess of Wales’ presence but also for the no-expensed-spared homes.

The building has a 24-hour concierge, lift access and communal gardens.

The apartment has two entrances, a cloakroom, terrace, parquetry floors and has been recently updated.

Harrods Estate agency is looking after the rental listing.

Palace Green is where governments house their British ambassadors, and is the choice postcodes of international billionaires.

Local press report the average price on a home on Palace Green costs $AU67 million.
