Belconnen’s town centre has been revitalising in recent years, with residential developments like High Society, Nightfall and Republic rapidly soaring skyward.

Another is the Wayfarer, which faces Eastern Valley Way and sits within a short walking distance of the University of Canberra, Westfield Belconnen, Radford College and a cluster of public service-tenanted buildings.

There’s an opportunity for a wide range of businesses on the street level of this new residential building – a generous and highly visible space of 179 square metres.

The space offers a large, open-plan work area with a soaring six-metre ceiling, two generous meeting rooms, a modern kitchen and storage. That visibility is delivered by a huge expanse of window frontage.

David Grimmond of Civium Property Group – Commercial says the space could likely suit a bar, restaurant or office.

“The seller would also look to vary the purpose use to include medical or indoor recreation like a yoga or pilates studio,” he says.

“There’s plenty of scope for a tenant with the vision to service the needs of a large residential market as well as a huge daily commuting workforce.

“Residential construction activity in recent years has injected a new level of energy into the town centre area and those developments have also increased the commercial mix and opportunities.”
