If the success of both Jerrabomberra and Googong is anything to go by, it seems like the new master-planned suburb of South Jerrabomberra is going to be a sure-fire hit.

Presenting itself as a perfect opportunity to invest or enter the housing market for the first time is Blossom Grove, a small townhouse development in South Jerra consisting of 17 four-bedroom homes.

“Fifteen of them are triple storey with three bathrooms. They are designed so that you have the capability of using the downstairs as a self-contained space, including a bedroom and multipurpose room,” says agent Rick Farzan of Aird Property Group.

“The living areas of these townhouses are on the first level and open out to a spacious balcony that will provide residents with seamless access to an al fresco-style outdoor entertaining area.”

The homes were designed to offer maximum flexibility in order to accommodate modern living requirements, such as multigenerational living or perhaps even a live-in boarder.

The alternative floor plan is a single-storey, four-bedroom home with a private courtyard and a double garage, which also includes a rear roller door to allow for drive-through access from the garage spaces to the private backyards.

Well-equipped kitchens will have quality Bosch appliances, stone benchtops, breakfast bars, and ample storage space, including a corner pantry.

The bathrooms feature curved designer vanities with stone tops and designer basins, as well as premium Olivieri bathroom fittings and tapware with 15-year warranties.

All four bedrooms have their own split-system reverse-cycle air-conditioning units, as do the living room and multipurpose room, allowing for easy heating and cooling.

In the three-storey design, each balcony comes equipped with an electric barbecue so residents can start entertaining as soon as they move in.

“One of the best features of all is the development’s proximity to the town centre with its shopping and eateries, and the town park,” Farzan says.

“You are quite literally across the road – it’s exceptional and the main reason why the developer decided to purchase this piece of land.”

The 6.5-hectare state-of-the-art lifestyle park is set for completion in 2025. It includes walking trails, barbecue facilities, a splash pad, a learn-to-ride facility, play spaces, and an outdoor gym to suit all ages and abilities.

The town centre will offer an array of hospitality and retail options, including a major supermarket.

“There is going to be such a high level of amenity when the South Jerra township is complete,” Farzan says.

“And when you look at the location, being right behind Hume, where many people work and rent in nearby areas, it’s a great investment opportunity too. You don’t want to look back once the area is developed and think ‘I should have bought there.’”

With construction due to commence soon, completion of Blossom Grove is expected in the fourth quarter of 2025.
