Britney Spears' Louisiana childhood home with dance studio for sale

A buyer will secure a piece of music history.

Britney Spears’ childhood home in Kentwood, Louisiana, has hit the market for $US1.2 million ($AU1.8 million) and retains most of its original fittings and furnishings including the dance studio where the mega pop star began her incredible journey.

The single-storey, ranch-style home is back on the market after Britney’s father Jamie Spears sold the property for a reported $US275,000 ($AU429,956) in February 2021.

Yvonne Hulsey of Keller Williams Realty Services is the listing agent.

The property at 14550 Greenlaw Church Road is a humble brick home on just under two acres. It contains three bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, multiple living zones and a back porch.

As stated on the listing, many of the furnishings are original and “preserve the essence of the iconic singer’s early years”.

Photos by Nicole Pittman reveal Britney’s very own dance studio with mirrors on the walls and what appears to be her childhood bedroom.

The bedroom is sweet with its pink and white tones and there are references to the pop superstar with “Britney Spears” stickers on a mirror. There is even a sticker of boy band NSYNC’s world tour. Britney’s ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake was in the band.

Framed Britney posters also hint at the current owner’s love for the American hitmaker.

The kitchen oozes rustic country charm with its timber cabinetry, patterned wallpaper and features a statement stone and granite dining table.

Other design details include vaulted ceilings and wood-panelled walls.

Louisiana is a south-eastern US state on the Gulf of Mexico. Britney currently resides in Los Angeles, California.

Considered the Princess of Pop, Britney is known for her hits including Baby One More Time, Toxic, Oops! I Did It Again and Stronger.
