Actor and model Brooke Shields has reportedly just sold her quaint Los Angeles home for a cool $10.2 million.
Situated in the affluent locale of Pacific Palisades, the nearly 500-square-metre five-bedroom, five-bathroom abode sits on a generous 1740-square-metre parcel of blue-chip real estate.
According to Dirt, Shields picked up the arresting 1980s-built home for roughly $4.5 million back in 1997, meaning the 56-year-old has pocketed a tidy $5.7 million profit over the past 25 years.
The opulent residence boasts a raft of features, including a light-filled living area with functional fireplace and exposed beams, a large balcony/alfresco area with sweeping canyon views and a marble-topped professional kitchen with luxury appliances.
The master suite, located on the home’s second floor, stands out as a real unique selling point, benefiting from two fireplaces, a study nook, a free-standing tub, a sauna and a private balcony.
A second deck, located on the home’s lower level, also benefits from a large, lagoon-style pool/spa ensemble and a lush-looking lounge area.
Although the Blue Lagoon star has owned the LA pad for two-and-a-half decades, it has never been the model’s full-time home.
Shields spends most of her time on America’s east coast, where she and her husband, screenwriter Chris Henchy, own an 1840s townhouse in Manhattan’s west village that they purchased in 2008 for $7.5 million.
The duo also own a fetching cottage in the perennially popular seaside locale of the Hamptons.
Located in the posh neighbourhood of Southampton, the couple forked out $5.8 million for the beach house.
We’re not sure whether Shields and Henchy will splurge on another property in California anytime soon.
Still, with a combined net worth thought to be around the $55 million mark, they’ll be able to purchase just about anything they want in La La land.
