Caitlyn Jenner's former Malibu rental up for sale

The former Malibu rental home of reality TV star and ex-Olympian Caitlyn Jenner is up for sale for $US$7.99 million ($10.7 million).

Jenner rented the Broad Beach Bluff property – which has since been renovated – in 2013 for $US14,500 per month during the break-up of her marriage to Kris Jenner.

The move was covered in the first episode of season eight of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.

“At first I thought getting my own place, that’s absolutely crazy,” she said while appearing on the show. “Now I’m thinking about it, you know, it might not be a bad idea.”

The 413-square-metre, four-bedroom home was built in 1950, and features sweeping ocean views captured through floor-to-ceiling windows.

There’s also a master bedroom with a private balcony looking directly on to the ocean, and wooden deck with spa, fire pit and outdoor kitchen.

The property was the site of paparazzi-photographed Fourth of July Celebration with her children Kendall and Kylie.

Jenner announced publicly that she was transgender in 2015, participating in an interview with Dianne Sawyer in April and being featured on the July cover of Vanity Fair magazine.

Jenner, who has six children in total, later bought in Malibu for $US3,575,000 in 2015.

She has appeared in two seasons of her own reality show, I Am Cait, and there have been recent reports that she will return to small screens as a talk show host.
