A-list celebrity couple Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden have reportedly just purchased a positively palatial Californian mansion for USD $12.67 million ($18.1 million).
Set in the uber-exclusive gated community of Ennisbrook, in the sweeping hills of Montecito near Santa Barbara, the gigantic mansion is spread over more than 7162-square-metres in the dress circle of the star-studded locale.
Notably, Montecito is home to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who have lived in the seaside postcode since 2020.
Recently restyled and refurbished, the sprawling Mediterranean-style villa comprises three levels of pure opulence and boasts six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms and an exquisite attention to detail.
Aside from arresting, albeit distant views of the North Pacific’s turquoise waters, the estate features a veritable cornucopia of luxurious amenities fit for a former acting goddess and a certifiable American rocker.
Just some of the features include a grand double-storey entrance hall with a curved staircase and large skylight with obligatory chandelier, a professional kitchen with vast marble island, an elegant study and a particularly nice home theatre.
There’s also a profound master suite we’re sure the dynamic duo will thoroughly enjoy, which benefits from a fireplace, a private balcony with ocean views, two en suites with spas and two walk-in robes bigger than most studio apartments.
Outside, manicured and established gardens are complemented by a lavish-looking pool and accompanying cabana, which can accommodate visiting guests with an additional bedroom, bathroom and open-plan living area with fireplace.
Although the palatial seaside abode may be new to the Charlie’s Angels star and Good Charlotte frontman, it is by no means the couple’s only Californian digs.
According to Dirt.com, the celebrity pair also own at least three other properties in and around Tinseltown, as well as a chic three-bedroom condo in Chelsea, New York City.
The eye-watering sale price will also most likely not be felt by the duo’s bank accounts, with Diaz and Madden thought to be worth a combined $260 million.
