Six months after her house was destroyed by a fire, model Cara Delevingne has sold it and taken a massive hit.
In March 2024, Delevingne’s Los Angeles mansion was burned down by a sudden house fire.
Delevingne was not at home at the time of the fire, and the Los Angeles Fire Department was never able to uncover the cause.
The blaze took two hours to put out, and two firefighters were injured.
Since then, the house has remained in a completely derelict state. No rooms were left untouched by the fire, which has reduced the home to a burned-out shell.
Now, Realtor.com reports that the scorched house in Studio City, California has sold off-market for $US4.6 million ($AU7.06 million).
Delevingne originally purchased the house for $US7 million ($AU10.75 million) in 2019, indicating a substantial $AU3.6 million loss.
Before the fire, the four-bedroom, six-bedroom home was a maximalist playground for the model and actor.
In a 2021 tour for Architectural Digest, Delevingne revealed a fun-and-games room complete with a ball pit.
There was also a secret passageway dubbed the ‘vagina tunnel’, and an attic party room with a stripper pole, a swing, and wrist and ankle restraints.
Architect Nicolò Binni from Line Architecture had worked with Delevingne to turn her vision for the house into a reality.
In an effort to minimise waste, Delevingne and Binni opted to retain most of the original furniture and decor from the previous owner, right down to the lights and couches.
