A breath of fresh air is something we will never take for granted again.
After the recent bushfires all but choked Canberra, we have now been hit with another unexpected turn of events that has forced us into the confines of our homes.
Venturing into our backyards or taking a walk among nature while breathing in the fresh, clean air we are so grateful for is, ironically, key to getting us through this coronavirus crisis.
So when a local development’s underlying inspiration is air, one can’t help but feel drawn to this appeal.
Que Aria Residences is a boutique development of just seven three and four-bedroom townhouses being built by Monarch Building Solutions.
“Aria means air and is particularly appropriate due to the open space and position on the ridgeline these residences will enjoy,” says agent Dan McAlpine of Belle Property Kingston.
“This perfectly encapsulates all that Aria Residences have to offer. Located in Denman Prospect, they maintain arguably the best-elevated position in the Molonglo Valley with commanding views and a great northerly aspect.”
The homes are situated opposite parkland, walking trails and playground areas, including the popular Ridgeline Park, which features play equipment, picnic areas and beautiful landscaped open spaces.
“They are also close to the Denman Village Shopping Centre, local schools including the Denman Prospect primary school currently under construction and, of course, it is still only a short drive to Canberra CBD,” McAlpine says.
Each of the homes have differing floor plans, so buyers can decide on which best suits their needs and lifestyles.
But all maintain a Hamptons-style interior and two neutral colour palette options inspired by Scandinavian design. It’s contemporary, class and luxury, all tied into one neat little package.
Timber floor features throughout the living area, with an optional upgrade for a herringbone pattern to be carried through to the tiles in the bathroom.
The bedrooms feature 100 per cent wool carpets and the kitchens come with 20-millimetre Caesarstone benchtops and quality European appliances. In summer, dual-zone ducted airconditioning will be a welcome (and cost-saving) relief.
The main suite is spacious and provides stunning vistas across the valley. There is also plenty of storage for growing families, or downsizers who want to keep at least some of the family’s memorabilia.
Other optional upgrades include window treatments, heated floors to the bathrooms, lifts and Vergolas in the courtyards to really let the sunshine in.
“The sooner you get in, the greater input you’ll have on deciding these specific inclusions and the level of finish,” McAlpine says.
Expected completion is the end of 2020.
