Buying your first home can be a big financial step, and it can also take a while to get there, with the Domain First-Home Buyer Report 2023 revealing it now takes six years to save a deposit for an entry-priced house in the ACT. 

Canberra’s current price for an entry-level house sits at $780,000, and luckily for first-home buyers, there are plenty of great options currently on the market below that price.
