Bombala’s historic post office has been serving the local community for more than a century and is now looking for a new lease of life under its next owner.

The 1914 Federation-style building with a distinctive red brick exterior occupies pride of place in the main street.

The postal business conducts local rural mail runs and hosts private PO boxes. The retail shop is fully stocked and offers products and services such as insurance, passport applications and renewals, police checks, money transfers, foreign currency exchange and gift cards.

There’s a further income stream through a space leased to Services Australia that principally provides Medicare and Centrelink services.
