A 2.5-hour drive from Canberra will take you to beautiful Mollymook Beach. The relaxed-yet-chic beachside town is popular with tourists, while many also call the area home.

The two-kilometre stretch of sand at Mollymook Beach is known as a great spot for surfing, swimming, or spotting marine life, while the Mollymook Golf Club boasts one of the top 18-hole courses in the country.

 

Eat & Drink

Love seafood? The iconic Rick Stein at Bannisters is a destination for foodies, serving up local seafood with a side of coastal views.

Or up the road at Bannisters Pavilion, enjoy more casual eats and an exciting cocktail list at The Rooftop Bar and Grill. You can also start your day with coffee and breakfast at Breakers by Killara Hospitality, or for a lively night of Asian-inspired dishes and a drink or three, head to Gwylo.

 

See & Do 

Hit the ocean for a snorkel or surf. There are surf schools if you want to get up on a board for the first time or hit the green for barefoot bowls at Mollymook Beach Bowling Club.

Grab the golf clubs for a game with unrivalled panoramic ocean views at Mollymook Golf Club.

Afterwards, indulge in a facial or massage at Spa By The Sea. And depending on the time of year, you might spot dolphins playing in the surf, or even whales a touch further out.
