It’s the last piece in the immediate harbour precinct of the successful Kingston Foreshore development.

And Sapphire may well be the most distinctive with its curved architecture and its enviable position on the tip of the peninsula.

Steph Davies, sales and marketing manager for developer Keggins, says a final release of three-bedroom apartments in the Developer’s Collection could be the last chance to secure a home in this unrivalled location.

“Sapphire was completed late last year with many of the 76 homes snapped up off the plan as much as two years ago,” she says.

“A strong part of the appeal is that each home has a water view – but there is much, much more beyond the aspect.

“It’s an iconic, tranquil location, the architecture is so distinct and the finishes are unrivalled,” says Davies, who expects strong competition from potential buyers.

Peter Ring and his wife Debbie moved into Sapphire in December and couldn’t be more delighted.

“We downsized from a suburban home and it’s fair to say that we weren’t quite sure what to expect,” he says.

“But the apartments are so well made that you can’t tell you’re living in close proximity to other residents.”

Peter is the founding owner of local company Altitude Brand Strategy and understands what contributes to a strong identity.

“A brand has got to live up to its promise and Sapphire has certainly done that and delivered us more than a home,” he says.

“It’s given us a new lifestyle and a new lease on life.”

  • Location. The Kingston Foreshore is now well-established and homes within Sapphire arguably occupy the best position in the whole development with its tip-of-the-peninsula harbour gateway location.
  • Distinct. Sapphire’s curved architecture is visually refreshing within a precinct where the rectangle is the dominant narrative. The distinction continues with thoughtful design that ensures every apartment has a water view.
  • Lifestyle. Apartment buyers often work to a wish list: great location, views, plenty of space for guests and entertaining, and access to a walkable neighbourhood with plenty of amenities. Tick. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Our top pick in the Sapphire development:

Unit 403, Sapphire

Anyone who spends any time at the Kingston Foreshore will recognise the Sapphire development with its prime position on the peninsula gateway to the boat harbour.

And it’s not just its location that sets it apart: so does its distinctive architecture, highlighted by curved lines and a reflective glass facade.

Sapphire has been created by family-owned developer Keggins, with architecture by Elenberg Fraser and construction by BLOC.

And something else that sets Sapphire apart: plenty of large-footprint apartments.

The Developer’s Collection has now been released, comprising 12 luxury three-bedroom apartments in a range of sizes and price points. These represent the last major opportunity to buy into this exclusive 76-apartment development.

Each residence is filled with natural light through full-height, double-glazed windows that frame panoramic views.

Apartment 403 is an elegant sub-penthouse with 132 square metres of living. Oak timber floors flow through the living and dining areas to a generous 46-square-metre private terrace.

There’s an open-plan kitchen highlighted by stone benchtops, plenty of storage, Miele appliances and an integrated refrigerator and dishwater.

The master bedroom, which overlooks Lake Burley Griffin, enjoys a spacious walk-in wardrobe and an en suite with freestanding bath and double vanity. The second bedroom also has an en suite.
