Simply put, the home at 4 Anglers Parade is the kind you might find in a storybook.

Built in 1968, the original home was affectionately dubbed the Doll’s House. But since its renovation three years ago, it now boasts a much more fitting name – the Triangle House.

This literal A-frame home is as coastal and cosy as they come.

“It’s quite a quirky home, but it’s also a little bit modern and edgy,” says listing agent Jo Jones of Tucker Real Estate.

“Almost the entire front is glass and looks out to the water, flooding the home in natural light and giving it a more spacious feel in the living area.”

Just three years ago the owners of the home completely stripped it back for a full renovation, installing all eco-friendly products and freshening up the finishes for a more contemporary look.

Inside, white walls are highlighted with exposed linear wooden beams – they are particularly interesting in the upstairs bedrooms where they meet at the triangle’s point.

“These have even been recessed and fitted with LED lights, which look incredible when they’re lit up at night,” adds Jones.

It’s truly a one-of-a-kind design.

The timber floor is the home’s original and is made from Cypress pine.

The bathroom has been modernised with concrete look walls and matte black tapware. It also features a freestanding bath and luxurious waterfall showerhead.

The contemporary kitchen includes a dishwasher and Caesarstone benchtops.

Offered for sale for only the second time in its existence, the home is tightly held in a small reserve of land, on the water’s edge of Fishermans Paradise

The large entertainment deck off the living level has views of the waterway and is perfect for dinner parties. The smaller verandah off the bedroom level is the place for a morning coffee or afternoon cocktail.

“This is my favourite thing about the home,” explains Jones.

“When you look out into the backyard, it flows onto the reserve, and the water is so close it feels like you can touch it.”

“And because all the nearby homes are set farther back, it makes this property, in particular, feel extremely secluded and like you have your own private access to the water,” she adds.

Investors should note the home’s proven track record as a profitable holiday accommodation and current listing on Airbnb and Stayz.com.au.

There is also the option to purchase completely as advertised, furniture and all.
