11 State Circle, Forrest is expected to be completed in 2023.

Here’s an intriguing development, and one I’ve been waiting to write about since I saw the signage erected not too long ago.

From the brand to the location, 11 State Circle, Forrest, oozes luxury and class. And now, judging by the floor plans and the inclusions, it’s safe to say the homes are living up to expectations.

11 State Circle Forrest

Developed by Keggins, 11 State Circle aims to set a new standard for living with just nine premium homes in this once-in-a-lifetime location.

Sitting adjacent to Parliament House, 11 State Circle is steeped in political history. In 1962 it was bought for £100 by the secretary to the Prime Minister’s Department, Sir Cyrus Lenox Simson Hewitt. He then balanced his public service duties in Barton with the building of his dream home in Forrest.

Expanding on the history of this piece of land and combining elements past and present, Hewitt and a team of international tradesmen built a home influenced by his former house in Geneva.

It was this narrative that renowned Melbourne architects, Parallel Workshop, drew from to create what will now be known as 11 State Circle.

Like its predecessor, the new development will incorporate sustainable, people-centric design with family and a strong connection to the local area at its heart.

“It’s a fitting next chapter for such a rare piece of land,” says the agent, Wayne Harriden of Independent Project Marketing.

Inspired by nature and designed to effortlessly into its surroundings, 11 State Circle is as impressive as they come.

The residences, set over three floors, have 275 square metres of living space, a 52-square-metre terrace, a lift, a triple car garage, an inground pool and a built-in barbecue area within each enormous, elegantly landscaped courtyard.

“The homes look over State Circle onto Parliament House,” Harriden says. “There’s no garaging seen from the street; it’s all hidden via the entrance on Hobart Avenue, and the landscaping is going to be very high level.

“The ground floor features a living area that opens out to the courtyard, along with a cloakroom, powder room and laundry, which is chuted from all levels.

“The middle level has a lounge and dining with fireplace, a kitchen and butler’s pantry armed with black glass Miele appliances, an integrated fridge and freezer and a warming drawer, another informal living area and two bedrooms with en suites as well as a separate powder room for guests,” he says.

“The top-level has a luxurious master suite with en suite that includes a bath, a dual vanity and an enormous dressing room as well as a separate study, and opens out to the top-level terraces.

“You won’t see another development like this for a long time to come.”

Expected completion is early 2023.
