Construction has commenced and 90 per cent of the homes have already been sold in Sierra, a development of 152 one, two and three-bedroom apartments in the heart of Gungahlin.
Atop Gungahlin’s highest block, these homes will boast some of the best views the region has to offer, spanning from Black Mountain towards the Brindabellas and promising some of the most jaw-dropping sunsets.
But the views are merely the tip of the iceberg on this exciting development, where the liveability and investment opportunities delve so much deeper.
Situated opposite Coles and next door to the Eastlake Football Club, this development places you mere metres from the best amenity Gungahlin Town Centre has to offer.
“The developers have been very conscious of strata fees, given you’re within metres of all the amenities offered within the town centre and the light rail is right there,” says selling agent Will Honey of The Property Collective.
Included within the building are parcel lockers for safety and convenience, integrated green spaces, NBN-enabled internet, and – anticipating the future of food delivery – a built-in drone delivery landing pad.
“On the podium level, the level above the ground, there are integrated green spaces connecting each of the three buildings,” says Honey.
“We actually have a couple of two-bedroom options available on this level that are great live-work designs – designs that have the ability to work from home, and where you can buzz clients directly to this level.”
“They’re perfect for professionals like accountants, architects and designers to run a home business from.”
Also available within the final pool of apartments are limited one-bedroom offerings, one-bedroom plus study, two-bedroom and very limited three-bedroom homes.
“These homes have been designed by Judd Studio with designs that have a really smart use of space. Every inch has a purpose,” says Honey.
With construction on track to be completed by the first quarter of 2024, Sierra has decided to have a little fun with the build.
“We ran a name the crane competition which received over 400 entries,” says Honey.
“We shortlisted these names and asked the public to vote on their favourite. We’ve chosen the winner, which we will reveal with a small crane naming ceremony on June 20. We’ll hang a flag on the crane and that will fly for the remainder of the crane’s time on site, which will be until around the end of this year.”
“The lucky winner will also receive a pre-loaded $1000 gift card to our neighbour Eastlakes Football Club in Gungahlin.”
