Kingsview is being sold by expressions of interest only, closing April 27, 2022.

When I’m researching the properties for this column and I start to picture my very own life there, I know I’m onto a winner. This week, this situation could not ring more true for Kingsview (Lot 1217), Jumping Creek’s premium signature block that has now been released for sale.

The block itself is just that, a parcel of land ready for its purchaser to craft their dream life from its soil. But it’s how particularly impressive this property (and location) is that makes it a real stand out.

Kingsview delivers unmatched views from an expansive block that feels like a world of your own, within a brand new, boutique community. At almost 2500 square metres, there is space to build the most breathtaking designer home on one of the largest blocks in the region.

“The block itself is almost completely flat with minimal fall,” says agent Shane McNamee of Ian McNamee and Partners.

Sitting tight on the on the edge of an escarpment, Kingsview maintains stunning 300-degree views that include the Queanbeyan River, White Rock’s swimming hole and beautiful tree-lined hills at Jumping Creek.

“This is a completely unique lot to hit the market. I’ve been selling real estate for 30 years and this is the single best lot to hit the market in that time,” explains McNamee.

“There’s a lot of space to play with and while usually, you’d have to venture far to get this kind of space and natural surrounding, this particular lot is still really close to Queanbeyan and Canberra.”

“Not only that, it really comes with minimal compromises. It’s situated at the very top of the development and while you’d usually find significant slope on block like this, at Kingsview, there is barely any,” he says.

With a neighbour on only one side, three of the block’s boundaries are completely uninterrupted.

“It’s the perfect piece of land for a tennis court and a swimming pool. The way the land falls away immediately after the block really enhances the visual impact. Imagine having an infinity edge pool overlooking these incredible views,” says McNamee.

“It’s your opportunity to build a luxury suburban home in a truly extraordinary location.”

Jumping Creek is a boutique new community just three kilometres from Queanbeyan and Jerrabomberra, and around 20 minutes from the heart of Canberra. Classed as a remote inner suburb it’s enveloped in natural surrounds,

While Kingsview is the only block of its kind in the area, Jumping Creek is also a very limited release of only 200 purchases.

“There’s no high density in the area, no apartments and no townhouses, and space between groupings of blocks so it doesn’t feel like you’re on top of each other,” explains McNamee.

“The smallest blocks are around 600+ square metres, which are considered some of the largest in Canberra’s newer suburbs. But most are actually 800-plus square metres.”

Feature we love: Because of the way the land appears to hover beyond the horizon, it feels like you could be on several hectares, without the worry of maintaining a block that size.
