Weston Creek is bordered by Stromlo Forest and Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve and offers residents the lush backdrop of natural bushland in all eight suburbs, as well as several recreational areas.

Weston Creek could be best described as one of the capital’s most resilient regions, having been the area hardest hit during the 2003 Canberra bushfires, which saw nearly 500 homes destroyed.

Almost two decades on from the 2003 Canberra bushfires, those properties that were destroyed have since been rebuilt,” said Tim Burke of Luton Properties Weston Creek and Molonglo Valley.

“And what’s telling of this now is that those people who were affected by it didn’t up and leave, they rebuilt their lives there.

“Weston Creek has seen a huge gentrification of sorts, the quality of homes are next level.”

Weston Creek offers a range of lifestyles to suit all Canberrans but at a price that is more affordable than its neighbouring districts.

But don’t let its affordability fool you – demand for homes in other locales has seeped into properties in Weston Creek, which, according to the latest Domain House Price Report, has seen the region’s median house price crack the $1 million mark, to now sit at $1.07 million.
